Introduction to CBISA Online™

CBISA Online™ is a comprehensive software program designed to meet all of your community benefit reporting needs. Quantifiable statistical information is collected through the Activities/Occurrence and Financial Service modules. The Leadership Journal module allows you to store all of your narratives and non-quantifiable information. Then, CBISA Online™ takes your community benefit reporting to the next level. With the Outcomes module, the software gives you the ability not only to track statistics and enter stories, but to record the effectiveness of your programs. Within the Outcomes module, you can log your baseline goals and strategies, specific indicators, measurable and anecdotal results.

In the Reports & Listings module, you will find a variety of reports and reporting options. CBISA Online™ gives you the ability to extract data for reports for single facilities or for multiple facilities within your system. Then, once again, bringing reporting to the next level, your reports can be exported directly from the software to different applications, such as Excel spreadsheets or Word documents.

CBISA Online™ allows you to keep all of your community benefit data in one place. The need for multiple database programs, spreadsheets and file cabinets to hold voluminous amounts of paper disappears with the use of CBISA Online™. This technologically advanced software also promotes consistency throughout your entire reporting process by giving you the ability to define an unlimited amount of data fields within the facility defaults. Some of the specific facility defaults that can be entered and/or customized are target audience ages and special needs populations, activity settings and formats, and subject/keyword/persons and topics for the Leadership Journal.

CBISA Online™ also utilizes role based access to the program. You have the ability to define ten different user permission levels: System Administrator, Senior System Manager, Multi-Facility Administrator, Multi-Facility Finance, Multi-Facility Senior Manager, Mulit-Facility Reporter, Facility Coordinator, Facility Finance, Facility Reporter, and Facility Senior Manager. By allowing for different users with specific access rights to the program, you have the capability of “spreading the work load”. Each user only has access to parts of the program that he/she needs.

CBISA Online™ is not only user friendly, but also “computer friendly”. The software program is a web-hosted ASP.NET application. Users only need a JavaScript enabled browser and the ability to log on to the internet. The workstation will need a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768 and the ability to view edit dialog boxes. All of the data is transmitted over secured lines from your facility to our server, backed up and retained in a secure encrypted environment. Also, all of the upgrades to the program are performed by Lyon Software negating any need for IT involvement.
