The 10th National Outreach Scholarship Conference, which will be held on the University of Georgia campus on September 26-30, 2009. The goal of our partnership, and the goal of this annual conference, is to advance the national dialogue about the civic connections made by colleges and universities with their local communities, as well as with communities across the country and around the world. Engagement Academy for University Leaders

For many institutions of higher education, engagement with the external community is increasingly critical to long-term success. Virginia Tech is please to present the Engagement Academy for University Leaders on June 22-26, 2009. Three associations, American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU), the Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities (CUMU) and National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges (NASULGC), are working with Virginia Tech's Center for Organizational and Technological Advancement to offer this program annually.
