CBISA6 Inline/Upgrade Descriptions

CBISA6 Desktop™ Version 6.5.1

The 2006 guidelines for tracking and reporting community benefit recommend that Medicare losses not be included as community benefit. Therefore, Version 6.5.1 of CBISA6 Desktop™ offers the option of "hiding" the Unpaid Cost of Medicare tab in the Financial Services module. To upgrade your software to the most recent version which includes this option, click on the download button and follow the installation instructions. You will need to know where the executable for the CBISA6 program resides. To find the path to the executable file, right click on your desktop icon and look at the "Properties" tab. Note the path. After the inline is applied, your Help/About date will be 08/21/2006.

CBISA6 Desktop™ with Web Entry Version 6.5.1 (Part A and Part B)

Therefore, Version 6.5.1 of CBISA6 Desktop™ with Web Entry offers the option of "hiding" the Unpaid Cost of Medicare tab in the Financial Services module. The new inline for Web Entry adds security to protect your program against cross scripting (XSS) vulnerability. You must download both inlines (one for CBISA6 Desktop™ client software and one for the Web Entry browser software) before resuming your work in CBISA6.

Part A: CBISA6 Client Software

Before applying the revision, locate the CBISAENT.EXE program you are executing. To find the path to the executable file, right click on your desktop icon and look at the "Properties" tab. Note the path. Click on the download button and follow the installation instructions. After the inline is applied, your Help/About date will be 08/21/2006.

Part B: Web Entry Browser Software

Before applying the revision, locate two files:
(1) webentry.exe The executable for the Web Entry program. The default location on your IIS server is inetpub\wwwroot\webentry.
(2) entrydata The "holding tank" folder. The default name and location may have been changed. To determine the name and location of your entrydata folder, located the webentry.ini file with notepad and not the DataDir path.

Click on the download button and follow the installation instructions. At the first pause in the installation, <Enter Path To Existing Webentry.exe>, navigate to the location noted in (1) above. At the second pause in the installation, <Enter Path To Existing EntryData Folder>, be sure to point to the same folder as in the path in DataDir from (2) above. After the inline is applied, your version date will bee 11/07/2006.
Note: After applying this inline, the webentry browser dropdowns (activity, department, persons) will be empty. The lists will need to be "re-populated" (choose "Export to Web Entry" button) from the main CBISA6 Desktop™ client software program.

Before applying the revision, locate the ROLLUP6.EXE program you are executing. To find the path to the executable file, right click on your desktop icon and look at the "Properties" tab. Note the path. Click on the download button and follow the installation instructions. After the inline is applied, your Help/About date will be 03/13/2006.

CBISA6 Rollup™ Workstation Install

If you have more than one Rollup™ coordinator who needs access to the program, the program may be installed on a network share drive with workstation installs pointing to the executable. A workstation installation is NOT a complete program install. Before applying the revision, locate the ROLLUP6.EXE program. Click the download button and follow the installation instructions.

CBISA6 Desktop™ Workstation Install

If you have more than one Desktop™ coordinator who needs access to the program, the program may be installed on a network share drive with workstation installs pointing to the executable (See Scenario 3 in the full program installation instructions). A workstation installation is NOT a complete program install. Before applying the revision, locate the executable for your program. Click the download button and follow the installation instructions.
