ASACB
The Advancing the State of the Art in Community Benefit (ASACB) demonstration brings together a diverse group of 70 hospitals in California, Texas, Arizona, and Nevada to develop and implement a series of uniform standards to align hospital governance, management, and operations, and to make optimal use of limited charitable resources to address unmet health-related needs. Keith Hearle, President, Verité Healthcare Consulting
Keith Hearle is the President of Verité Healthcare Consulting, LLC (Verité). He has over 20 years of consulting, management, and research experience all focused on the healthcare field. Keith developed the first account and reporting framework for community benefits, incorporated into the Catholic Health Association's Social Accountability Budget, and updated that framework for the 2006 CHA Guide for Planning and Reporting Community Benefit. He has worked with several hospital associations and health systems: as faculty for community benefit programs, to comment on federal tax exemption and reporting initiatives (including the draft 990), to assess organizational performance, and to provide community-based planning and litigation support.
